My new budget gun!

just got it on friday. my new budget gun. including tax and shipping it came to $383 canadian dollars brand new.
Tanfoglio witness P 9mm. amazing gun. only thing that is a small draw back is that its not rated for +P ammo.

Dang! That's cheap! How's the trigger compared to the CZ?

i never used a CZ so i cant tell you. the trigger is good nothing special. but a company makes a flat competition trigger kit for this gun for about $120 US i want to get. i think with that trigger this gun would be amazing and still cheap.

Cant go wrong for that price. wouldn't worry about the +p im sure you wont have any problem with regular ammo

Which frame size is it? Could you measure your mag's body (width by length)? Should be either 1.25"x.82" or 1.345"x.85".

this is a lot of gun for a first handgun. for the price you really cant go wrong. its the kind of gun that could last a lifetime. there is all kinds of upgrades for it even caliber changes. i wish it was around when i got my first handgun.

Does it have European proofs on it? If so, it was proofed to CIP pressures for 9mm - look that up, it's really quite revealing.

not sure what the euro proofs look like? but i know the slide and frame have the original Tanfoglio 'Force' markings on them.

Check out CIP maximums for 9mm, then compare them to SAAMI.

i dont know how the slide is made.how could i tell? its got some kind of what Tanfoglio calls a 'wonder' finish on it i believe.
