I thought you all might like to see my new rifle build. The specs are:

Lone Peak Razor
6.5 Creedmoor
Benchmark #5 4-Groove 1-8" twist
Allterra Arms Carbon Hunter stock
Hawkins Oberndorf BDL bottom metal
Trigger Tech Special
Cerakote Graphite Black with Burnt Bronze accents

6.5 Creedmoor.
I know how a lot of folks feel about the caliber. I've owned rifles in a wide range of calibers from .223 Rem to 300 Win Mag. 7mm-08 Rem and 45-70 are two of my favorites. However, for hunting deer sized game 6.5 CM checked all of the boxes. I thought about 6.5 PRC and 7mm SAUM but I like to shoot a lot and I don't like recoil. It just seemed 6.5 CM was the easy button.

Beauty rifle there Bud - All Great componets ! (y) :) - I too am getting built a new rifle using the LP Razor action but in 25 CreedMoor with a #6 JC C 24 " barrel 1--7.5 4 groove but No fluting in mine . - I already have a couple each 6 & 6.5 Creeds so trying a new one.

What does you rifle weight bare as in the pictire please ?

I haven't weighed it. I have a scope on it at the moment but I'll be swapping it out in a couple weeks. When I do I'll weigh it and let you know.
I'm guessing around 7.5 lbs.
 
After sighting it in with factory rounds I tried my first handload. Just picked a random load as no need for serious load development until a few rounds are down the barrel.

As H4350 seems to be "the" powder for this cartridge, I decided to try it.
It didn't shoot quite as well as N555 although the load was a bit hotter chronographing nearly 100 fps faster.
It was very humid and foggy so not the best conditions. With that said, the first four went into 0.37" and then I blew it on the final shot opening the group up to 0.56"!2026-08-01.jpg

Just had my 25creed finished too. Other than the muzzle brake. Ks action and barrel with Ezekiel hybrid stock

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. My scope was a while coming in.
The bare rifle as shown in the pic weighs exactly 7 lbs.
