Yeah, their batteries don't handle extreme heat real well.
I don't bump fire or practice mag dumps, so the heat build up will be minimal.

I'm still working out the ideal configuration for my needs - it's a work in progress.

Quick fix, take a hacksaw to the carry handle turn it into a backup iron then move the Eotech back.

Sincerely dont think heat will be a problem - those handguards dissipate heat well

I thought the carry handles on these models were detachable?

You are correct, they are detachable.

I checked out the sight picture with the handle in place and it's fine.
I'm going to try it out as pictured and see what happens.

It is detachable but cutting the carrying handle down to a BUIS will save him from buying an aftermarket BUIS and allow him to move the Eotech back.

I am still waiting to.... I placed an order for a sling and some rail covers on the 13th I think and it just got shipped out yesterday. 8 days to ship something.... bah.

Anyways, I laugh whenever I see someone selling a LE6920 for 2K+ when they can be had for $1299 in the US + importing them + shipping and duties if anyand you can get one for about 1700~ into Canada.

You have good taste my friend, keep it simple and use only top of the line products, love it.
All I would add is a Gearsector sling... Jason is amazing to deal with and his slings are 2nd to none.

Did you import the Colt up here?
