I finally brought my LE 6920 home yesterday, it's a work in progress ...

Welcome to the fold. I've had mine for a few years and just notice a marking yesterday during cleaning. Just wanted to know if yours had one as well.

It's a small 'M4' on the front face of the upper just below the rail. It looked stamped but not as crisply as say the Colt logo or serial number. An M4 upper with a LEC lower perhaps? Do all Colt AR's ultilize M4 uppers(not so much asking as thinking out loud)?
