Hi All,
After seeing RUSTSPOT's project socom and loving the UTG Quad Rail I decided I needed to build a new 10/22:) I wanted the CQB look so I started with some parts and a vision:

After getting a reciever, trigger group and a Dlask 12.5" with Levang comp I did a fully adjustable 2.5# trigger job on it using the stock parts with torsion return spring and trigger overtravel screw in the plunger hole. I also made the stock barrel block into a tension one by adding a set screw. A few cuts and a little gluing and here's what I ended up with:

I still need some stuff like BUIS, build a strap mount for a sling of some sort unless I can use the buttstock one, get a picatinny sling mount for the front if needed and a green laser:redface:just because I have room for it. I have a TI tactical charging handle on the way. I also am going to fix the front to look better with the quad rail and build something to fill the pistol grip/trigger guard gap but I am pretty pleased with it so far.

The only thing that catches my eye is the pistol grip - trigger guard gap, damn! NothingI'd be able to come close to doing, well done!

lone-wolf, I'm working on fixing that.
300Spartans, why don't you like the mag release? I thought it was pretty trick and it works well but to each their own. Do you like skully better?

very good

I'm glad you posted the build pics too. It really helps a person understand the magnitude of work and time involved. And YOU customized it.:):) I am impressed by your workmanship.:)

Thanks guys, it needs some more tweeks and of course more bling but I am pretty pleased with it so far if I do say so myself. If only the rain would quit I could go out back and try her out.

update: I can't shoot out back right now anyways as there is a whitetail doe laying out there that looks like she is about to give birth and I don't want to scare her. I will keep you posted and pics if possible.
