I cracked open a new case of S&B 7.62x39 today and noted the boxes were marked with a "U" Usually I have had them marked with a "P". Anybody have an idea what the letter means. Do any of the crate markings mean anything interesting.
It was also signed and dated inside the crate lid. Someone in pencil wrote 5/12/83 and signed their name. Any idea if this date has any significance. Like maybe they dated the non-corrosive stuff
