Hello gents,

Today I took out my new CZ 858 that I ordered from Armacoat. Since I usually go the milsurp way it is one of the very few guns I bought new, and I really spoiled myself. Tax return, etc. Ambi safety, bolt release(that will need some tinkering) and the NEA heavy brake that I didn't use today.

Dealing with Armacoat was great. Barret will return your emails lightning fast. I found the wait time to be excruciating since they make them in batches and I ordered early. :runaway:

But today I was :dancingbanana:

And I couldn't resist making my little "gun video". My crappy old camera doesn't give the best resolution but hey, it's better than nothing. And I didn't use "Bodies". Many beer bottles will never get their refund because of this gun. Take that Earth Day!

So just in case anyone doubts that the CZ 858 is a freaking cool gun, for your enlightenment and enjoyment

Side point: the first round shot in the video is the very first round I shot with that gun. Note the smoke. Any comment/insight?

1 things first.
Start using that bolt release!
As for the smoke, it's probaly just the excess oil burning off. Also you will start to notice that your first shot of the day will be a little higher than the rest of your groupings threw out the day because it is you cold bore shot.
Besides that u got 1 sweet rig there ;)
Now why can't the importers of this rifle send them 2 Arma Coat in the first place beats me
Not only does he make the rifle look great but the paint & prep that he does is top notch never mind his great customer service. The ceramic paint also adds a thin layer of heat resitance that will make your rig run a little cooler witch inturn will make you and your rifle and happy combo!

nice video, did you clean the gun before you shot it, or just shot it right after you bought it? I know i shot mine right after my purchase, when i should have cleaned it, after a good cleaning it performed even BETTER than the first day. And the first day was great. Good video, nicely put and awesome gun, im taking it tomorrow for a few rounds :)

Hehe, that's what I mean by "bolt release that will require some tinkering". I only use it once in the vid and it's with my thumb. It's just way too damn stiff. I guess it's nothing a couple of emails to NEA and some adjusting can't solve.

...And off course I shot it right away without cleaning it!:D Ain't got no time to waste!

Congrats on the new gun. Wow can't believe all the snow you got. In London we got a lot of rain and a bit of sun for Easter but nothing like that. And we still are complaining.

Damn my computer...no vid for me. The pic looks awesome tho, beaver barf goes good with black on these rifles. Your bolt release may require a break in, my BC tactical bolt release is still stiff. I find I need to turn my trigger finger down to get it to drop. As for the smoke, mine does that as the oil burns off the piston for the first couple rounds.
