My new Duck Hunting partner.

Here is my new partner picked him up this morning!

Currently sleeping in his crate already.

His name is

Maktawae Luke Bo Duke! Call name Luke.

Hopefully will be getting him involved in CKC Huntest WC's and JH, SH, MH someday if my family life allows weekends away.

Nice looking pup! Will he be ~ 7 months old opening day ducks? Our wirehair started duck hunting @ 10 months. We hit a small swamp behind a buddies hunt camp, so that Nos would not hear a bunch of shooting. Got 3 ducks on his first hunt! Good times!

Cute little fellow! Makes me miss my chocolate, Kodiak. She was a runner though, and eventually met a bumper... but she was a great duck dog, with unlimited drive... I drove to Minnesota to pick her up as a pup, I started her on live birds at 8 months. Have fun, and good luck with your training.

He will be 6 months come October he is 7 weeks right now.

Good lookin little fella! I'v checked out 7 puppies in the past month, each a different breed, haven't found the one that can take the place of my old best friend. Looks like you've found yours though, congrats!

He's the first puppy I've ever had so I didnt have any comparison to go on and I am trusting in my breeder and her ability to pick the right pup and guide me through the experience. I have 2 little girls at home so I needed a pup with the ability to be calm and pushed around by kids.

So far in one day he has impressed me exponentially.
