Its shameless, but i just love my new enfield, and i feel like i want to share her with you guys... if you notice something that would be cool... theres a few marks that i cant find anywhere online, a crown, with a capitol "E" with its horizontal lines facing upwards toward the crown mark and a "7E" rightside up under it. Couple others, but i can tell its a BSA from the Shirley plant, in very nice condition longbranch wood, its a pretty straight forward one. metal is stamped 1945, England..the reciever identification is electro pencil and hardly noticable, i cant really read it all aside from no.4 mk1. Havent pulled off the wood on top so i havent checked the barrel proof marks... yet. Oh, also the safety sits in a different coloured metal anyone seen anything like this? common thing? Thanks
