The IWI Jericho 941. This thing has just blown my socks off and thought I'd share so you can get one too. I'm pretty sure it's my new favorite gun. Post some pics/video if you have one too. I guess there's a bunch of different versions out there. Anyone have any troubles with theirs? anything about the Baby Eagle, post it here.

Nice review man I bought the exact same Jericho just a few months ago. I agree the finish is rather delicate, the area under my slide release has some pretty good wear marks, along with some other scratches already lol.. Really loving the pistol though, it feels amazing in the hand, has a good weight, and built really solidly. Just has a really good "feel" to it. LOVE the single action trigger pull. The thing is bang on accurate too, that combination of heavier weight and good trigger make it very easy for me to shoot well.
My only ergonomic complaint is the slide mounted safety/decocker. Not my preferred location but I've actually gotten pretty used to it. Considering the price of this pistol, I think it's one those hidden gems that's pretty underrated.

I seriously looked at the Jericho but the polygonal rifling was a deal-breaker for me. I wanted standard rifling for shooting cast bullets. Ended up with a Ruger SR45 instead.

I have had both the Tanfoglio Combat and the Jericho, essentially the same gun. I believe Tanfoglio makes the Jericho. These are very under-rated pistols, and an excellent value.

I'd love one, you buyin'? haha

No seriously, it's a nice pistol. Range buddy has one and they're solid, built like tanks. Not a huge fan of the slide-mounted safety, but still very solid pistols.

They do make a frame mounted safety version as well...

How many pistol models does IWI have? What is the difference between them?
IWI manufactures the famous Jericho pistol which is in service in the Israeli police force for over 20 years. Among the advantages of the Jericho pistol is its famous reliability, ambidextrous safety, single or double action trigger mechanism and more.
The Jericho pistol family comes in three calibers: 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP. They also have two frame types: the S model – steel frame and the P model – polymer frame. The whole Jericho family can come in an F configuration – the safety is on the Frame or in an R configuration where the safety comes on the slide.

I have a 941 also. A great feeling all steel pistol that shoots 6 inches low at 20 yards. Sights are not adjustable combat style. I have looked and looked but cannot find adjustable sights for this pistol. Quite disappointed with my Jericho.

I wouldn't choose the models with the slide mounted safeties but everything I have read says they are good guns at a good price. I own two Tanfoglios that like the variations of CZ's are similar guns. The 941's are the most affordables while my Tanfo Xtreme goes for $2500 at this point. My Limited Pro started at $1100 but I've pushed that up considerable with Xtreme mods. These are great competition guns.

I shoot lead part of the time with the polygonal barrels with no trouble whatever and I checked on this count with Tanfo people before I bought. Lead might mean more frequent cleaning but everyone that answered this question for me assured me that lead was OK.

If it's 3 dot sights, you put the front dot on what you want to shoot, not meant for target 6 o'clock hold, meant for fast short range shooting.

I bought one for the wife and she loves it. I am having problems with it as when it is fired the slide wond completely close on the new cartridge. About 2 or three mm. Touch the slide from behind with the thumb and it closes. Have tried three kinds of ammo and it does it all the same. Other than that wife loves it. Now I gotta find some mags for it.

I would suspect an extractor issue. I assume it was cleaned.

Does it happen with anyone who shoots it? I'd also check the casing, see if there's any marks on it that would clearly indicate it's binding up somewhere. Is the gun new or used?

The gun was new and functioned fine when new. Has about 800 rounds in it. I clean all of my guns after use. Celt the 10/22
I have been working a lot of hours this summer so when things slow down (after hunting season). I will have to see if I can figure it out.
