Well I have had my Grizz for a month or two and wasnt sure which way I was going to go with it. I seen a 870 with the laminate stock and liked it but the forend wouldnt work and would need to be chopped to work, I thought there couldnt be much to get it fit. Boy I was wrong! I found the stock set on the EE here and started chopping, sanding, and grinding and 5 hours later I finally got it to fit! It still needs to be refinished, and I have to sand out the checkering on the forend as I had to cut through the middle of it and looks goofy. I also had a little oops with the dremel as you can see in the one pic, but it will just need to be refinished and it will be good to go. Anywho here are the pics, tell me what you think!
Oh one more thing, what should I use to refinish the stock? Thanks

Love a nice short barreled shotgun, and than when you make it look like that its even more gorgeous! Theirs a pretty cute looking Woodstock Winchester defender I saw on EE with an 18''ish barrel and a side saddle and it looked mean ###y! this looks even meaner! have you got to try out the sights on that bad boy?
What are you planning for a finish?
