Hello and good day!

Since both these revolvers were designed for the intention of carry or a kit gun, the original grips on them are made to be compact.

Not applicable to here since they only see the range.

I like grips that are hand filling and these are just too small. It also affects the trigger length of pull...which is quite short for me.

Through some hard looking, I found a Thailand custom grip maker on ebay.

Check them out!!!

A first sight, they are well made.

The wood according to the maker is made from rare siam hardwood.......ok......I'm no wood expert but it feels really hard to me.

The fit and finish are very good.

They went on with a snug fit and the seams are not noticeable as well.

Conclusion...they fit very well...the colors and wood are high quality....and best of all cheeeeeeeap........$32 US shipped per set.

The maker has quite a few grips for the most common revolver / pistol models , ie: S&W 686...etc.

I highly recommend these...bye.

Pinch?

Perhaps the photo with the underside was not a good illustration.

I noticed later the grips weren't pressed together fully.

They are very comfortable with no pinching of any sort.

i have one of these Ruger SP101-22's and i must admit i was so excited to get it, then i got it..... and now in the safe it sits.
i think i didnt realize that the gun was a compact carry size.
that and you need 3 grown men and a small child to help ya pull the trigger its so tight!
either way i just dont like the way it shoots.
i should maybe look at some bigger grips on it and see if that makes it better.
