My new hunting rig

I was drawn for mule deer this year and i live in some excellent mule deer country that has potential for some nice long shots. It is easy to stalk up on them but I am ready to try something new. Picked up my new Savage 110 FCP in 338 Lapua. I am loving it so far Hoping to get lots of practice in with it in the coming months. Now to track down reloading dies.

And lucky bugger you are. Be care about ground shrink. All mule deer look immense from a distance. The trick will be to chose the middle aged antlers and bodies from the teenagers.

Im just shooting 285 grn Hornady match for now. getting some brass. Havnt decided on a hunting bullet yet

im sure those would work, that looks like a very interesting bullet. hornady has done some good things the last few years
