I'm thinking the whole rifle is humped. It looks okay and is probably a great shooter but if it was advertised as a German K98k it was misrepresented. Personally I would want a refund just on principle.

Any K98K IS WORTH KEEPING. PERIOD.

Daym that's a nice looking rifle!!

I understand the concerns regards the WaA stamps (that one on the stock looked waaay too good, and the eagle's proportions are a touch off too) but what a looker!

Hope it shoots as good as it looks; if you've been mislead, there's a chat you need to have...

funny, i was just looking at that website a few days ago and thought that a lot of rifle stocks looked sanded.

As for the bcd 41, the Yugo reworks were sanded down somehow (almost like with a long and skinny strip of emery cloth) on the receiver top as the numbers and letters are not very deep anymore due to the loss of the metal from sanding.

Yeah, I agree with CY and Clav's, it looks like a Yugo rework that's had a bit more 'work' done. Anytime I see the plum colored extractors, the first thing I think is Yugo rework. Lots of them have that in common from the refurb process.
