My new M39

So I got a 1944 Sako marked M39. The stock is a ww2 original. The bore is factory mint. I mean perfect. Here are a couple pics. I will try to get some bore pics when the sun comes out.

When you get a chance to photograph the bore, can you also post a closeup of the stock splice?

I got it through WTB add on the EE. Best 425 I ever spent. I will take some better pics this evening.

That is one nice looker, pretty hard to come by if I must say so. You must have the luck of the Irish my son.If you shoot her let me know how it works out, and keep me in mind if you ever sell her.

Very nice Dave. Stock wood looks a lot like the wood on my '41 SAKO. Any initials carved into it?
