Gotta love those Swedes,up until a year or so ago I never even had my hands on one,now I can't get enough of them,I just love these rifles and the 6.5X55 round is definitely one of my favourites.I think once you shoot this rifle you will be looking for more in short order, enjoy!!!!

Sorry purists, this ones wood was professionaly redone, from a previous owner. I happen to like it. In consolation it is all matching #,s original blueing, great bore, nice wood, no holes drilled and is 95 years old. I' ll just have to live with it,s degraded value or sell it off at Tradex pricing.

I forgot, definately not from Tradex, I put in an add on the E.E. (W.T.B) 3 days later "voila". A public thankyou to a great CGN,er for selling me this rifle. HAPPY EASTER to all.

That is the all important part that some people seem to overlook these days.

I like to think, what do you get new for the $ value of a very nice M96? An entry level economy rifle plus taxes. To make a rifle like this today they would have to charge $2,000 to $3,000. They don't make these anymore and how many have been bubbad? I cringe at imagining myself carrying a Savage Axis.( I can say that here I hope ). Anyways I've ordered a S & K Scout mount, now to start shopping for a scout scope.
