My new moose and bear rifle

I just thought I would bump this with an update.

I was planing to take this moose hunting but it couldn't go as I was having some trouble with the scope rings.
A few months later and with the help of the people at New England Custom Gun it is finally complete!:dancingbanana:
These EAW pivot mounts are not cheap but they really are worth it.

The scope is an old Leupold 4X that I had, I'm going to give it a try but I think I will get a VX-III 2.5-8x36mm for it sometime soon.

Stupid photo host started putting those annoying cupidfish logos on my pictures.

Yup, looking good.

Are you going to get that cupid etched into the stock? LOL

Have you shot this beast yet? C'mon man, your holding out on us!

I never noticed before, sure has a unique trigger guard. Is it stamped steel?

Ooooh, a cupid might look good combined with a deer jumping over a fence and maybe some antler inlay too.:D

I have yet to fire it but that is going to change soon.

I'm pretty sure the bottom metal is stamped military but it's all polished up and doesn't look too bad so I don't really mind it at all.

A nice piece of fancy walnut and Blackburn bottom metal would really set this thing off but I like it the way it is so that is fairly low priority.
