If you want you can email me the photo and I will upload it.

Is this the rifle made by that guy who was always running his mouth who used to post here?

Hoping to christen my new Sako 85 LH Hunter in 9.3x62 on a moose this year too!
Really liking how the Nosler 250 gr AccuBond ammo shoots in this rifle; .512" @ 100 yards with comfortable recoil off the bench. The Norma 285 gr Alaskan ammo shoots .772" @ 100 yards and has noticeably more recoil, but not as much as the Lapua 285 gr Mega ammo which shot 1.219" (IIRC the last two group sizes). Sorry, did not chrony so no idea actual velocities out of my rifle...yet.
Congrats on your new rifle and best of luck!

I took a moose with mine a week ago, about 20 yards or so, 286 grains, no complaints.

My dad had a weatherby and complains about the recoil (shoulder replacements) we need to replace his butt pad, yours is aftermarket as well?

Shoots very well, 22" stainless Pac Nor I think, on a blued action, was a 270 Sporter sold to me as unfired, original recoil pad, I don't find the recoil bad at all, it is quite comfortable to shoot, I find the raised cheek piece on any rifle helps me with felt recoil, I was in a bit of a rush to leave on my trip so I had to sight it in in a gravel pit in the bush, so don't really know how accurate it is it can out shoot me, certainly minute of moose, I had the work done at a B.C. gunsmith not sure if their a member here I was looking for a blued barrel they had the stainless in stock, I was not totally satisfied with their service I was initially told I may have it back in a week then 6-8 weeks when I phoned at 9 weeks to check on it I got lots of attitude about how they were right on the expected schedule and no straight answer. I did get it in time for a two week trip but I had no draw so saw moose just no immature bulls.
