Bought this little beauty a couple of weeks ago at my LGS. It came with a 30/5 Pmag.

I bought the scope and had it mounted by the gents at the store. I also purchased 2 10 round mags for it as I will be laying on a hillside sniping coyotes. I also the Limb saver to get the length of pull that I need { the recoil is not an issue }

the knives in the pic's are a Winchester branded fixed blade and a Benchmade folder.

Loving the rifle, except for a few problems that I have encountered.
1: FTF's with the included magazine { the 30/5 black Pmag }, the bolt doesn't even touch the rounds that are loaded
2: the magazine/s rocks to the front by 1/4 - 3/8's inches
*3: the bolt feels rough when cycling {wont consider this an issue unless it continues after the break in stage.}*

Have had the rifle to the range twice since I purchased it { no vehicle to get to the range on my own, so I depend on friends for rides } the last time which was on April 14th, I was able to get on the 100 yard line , knowing I still need to go through different manufacture ammo, I am looking forwards to getting this rifle fully sighted in .

Does anyone on the forum have experience with this rifle and if so, do you have any tips on how to fix the second issue?. Also, if anyone has any tips for getting the best accuracy out of it, I would be very appreciative.

Got one and it is very accurate with right ammo, yes the mag is sloppy mine came with standard metal five rnd, if mag got cocked off fore and aft would jam but if it just hangs will work but style of bolt will never run smooth due to design just use the palm of you hand to open and close do not baby it! Mine is out for guy to see about fixing mag deal.

The solution to the PMag is to sell it someone who needs to look tacticool with his AR on the range. Coyotes will not die of fright when they see with a five round magazine that sticks out the bottom of your rifle with twenty-five imaginary rounds.

Only issue with mine is light strikes. Sending it in for warranty Gretch assures me it is easy fix. VERY accurate with fsactory ammo even.

Indeed, their .22's were really good back then.

I picked up the exact Mossberg .22 my Dad had as a kid as a gift to him from a fine GCN'er maybe a year ago. Gotta say, it's a great rifle !

Only other Mossberg I'd buy are 590a1's.

And good 22's back in the 40's & 50's.
But that's about it.
