Blackrose Tactical out of B.C made this and it looks great ! I had my barrel cut and rethreaded for 1/2 x 28,
The brake is relief cut on the rear to slide over the barrel a bit (1/4”).
Its a little off topic but can I ask why you had it threaded 1/2 x 28 instead of 5/8x24? I was under the impression that 1/2 x 28 was for 5.56 rifles. But I could be wrong.
I believe for the 22 inch m-305 after a barrel cut to 18.5 in. the usual pitch used is 1/2 x 28 , I sent the barrel to Ellwoods for the cut and rethreading job .
I would love to see a video that demonstrates the effectiveness of this brake. Bonus points for doing a direct comparison with other brakes on the market like the good iron, m14.ca lmb, juggerbrake etc.
I ordered one from them 2 days ago, the one advertised for the 305. Can't wait, they say it's for stability, not flash. Does anyone know how much of a flash a 305 makes?
