I got one of the Norinco 9mm pistols from Canada Ammo, and it seems to failure to feed around the 4th shot from either clip. Its a pain in the butt, I have only fired 90 rounds and put it away. Anyhow, what could be causing this?? It happens with both mags and the only ammo I have tried is AE 115 (45 rounds) and AE 124 Gr (45 rounds) . Could it be an ammo problem? or a feed ramp problem, or a clip problem.?? Any help would be appreciated.

start by tearing it down and look for the shiny spots on the rails and polish them with a points file and little by little you will see it get better . or if this is took much work just keep shooting till it wears in

If it is happening with both mags then I doubt that is the problem.

I had one & found it to be a nice little gun, a little rough in spots though.
I did find it to be ammo sensitive. A couple of different brands would cause jams ( the bullet would be angled too high & hit just above the chamber instead of going in ).
I switched to different ammo & the problem went away.

I think it was related to how fast the slide was working back & forth that caused the jams.

norc np-34

got a norc np-34 (sig 228 clone) last week, the last bullet im both mags fails to feed, it appears for some reason it move slighlty forward in the mag and the slide locks open. Also this gun appears to be very inaccurate compared to my 1911. any tips?

I got 2 213's from Canam...

Fit & finish wise, one was ok out of the box, the other was rough as heck! There was a bur 1/4" high on the barrel feed ramp of the one.

I decided to try the "better" one as is, and to "play" with the other one.

The one I played with, I stoned the frame and the slide where all the parts contact & the polished then heck out of everything on the frame & slide contact areas.

I then started on the feed ramp & barrel, a dremel with stones (to remove the burr) and then 3 levels of polish the get a mirror shine out of all of the spots the bullet contacts as its feeding..... and I mean a MIRROR finish, I can actually see myself in the metal when I look at it......

I now have a norc that feeds only round nose ammo and one that feeds absolutly every thing I try to feed it!

All told I think I spent 5 or 6 hours, just polishing, and a couple hours stoning/grinding.

The bone stock gun I never shoot, its pretty much just there for parts, Like someone posted in the "big" 213 thread....

Buy one at $99 & then order a parts kit, they are $99, but you get 2 mags a barrel all of the misc springs trigger group and a frame!

Cheers!

Even some fine emery paper wrapped on a small dowl will help you polich that feed ramp.

Asa rule of thumb, it takes 500 rounds to break in a new pistol. In that the Norarev is made from very hard steel and is not as well finished as most, i bet it will take every one of those 500 to break in.

I shoot Wolf brand reloads in mine (round nose) and both of them feed fine. They fed fine out of the box and feed just fine now that the ramps are polished.

You have to polish the ramps just a bit by running the gun over with a 1989 Ford Bronco a few times. Easy fix.

I had feeding issues with mine too, I polished the feed ramps with 1000 grit wet/dry sand paper and the problem went away. Polishing all the other contact points on the moving parts will make it alot smoother.

One of mine worked great out of the box the 2nd one when playing around I noticed the slide stick a little bit, sanded the slide where I could see it was hitting works great now.

Good luck with yours.

M213's

Glad I didn't buy one.

BTW, I see they are coming up for sale in the EE usually for around $150.

Still maybe a bargain for some, just not my cup of tea.

Everyone enjoy yours if you have one & can make it work without jamming.

NAA.

I had a lot of issues with stovepipes when I first got mine, then I found out I was "limpwristing" when I fired. I am used to shooting the S&W Model 10 revolver, so the action is quite a bit different. Now that I am used to the semi auto action, I have had no feed issues with my 213.
