Picked up this gorgeous rifle today. 1953, all matching... Just cleaned off the cosmoline

Long story. Got it off a family friend for a decent price. Its the most stunning milsurp rifle I have ever seen!

I had one several years ago that was mint in the cosmo as well. They are definitely the nicest Mosin out there.

Keep it unfired and in this condition and the value will most likely continue to go up.

Those are not the same .
The Polish ones like the OP posted were sold in the 80's , They were new old stock
They were never issued or shot . They were going for $99.00 back then , still have one & it's still unfired
