American spirit arms side charger upper receiver from western metal alloys in calgary

Super quality.

I bought it for $580.00 just the the receiver, no BCG.
A little pricey, but worth it for my application.

It was at the post office the same day it was shipped, great customer service.
And the only place I could find you carried asa products.

now just looking for someone who carrys gibbz arms products

You can use any BCG you want, you just have to mill a little slot
Into it for the charging handle to grab on to. I was using a piston driven BCG
So I couldnt buy the one that came with it.

With bolt carrier is $690.00

With bolt carrier and bolt is $785.00

Took me about a week of thinking about it to buy one.
I wish they were cheaper, but thats what I wanted.
Im building a differant extremely custom ar

I know what that's like, custom things are my vice :X

Adcor would have been less expensive.

Curious how the bolt catch works on this upper?

Not down with the adcor side charger. It had go be asa or gibbz arms.

Ill take some pictures when I get my bolt and show you.
You can check your website too.

I think gibbz arms has a good idea for bolt catch to. But I feel
As a non reciprocating handle this is the way to go

Pricey, but it's a hobby. Make sure you show off your build. I'm interested.

It might be a while, but I will.
Its taking alot of time to source out everything but its really fun.
Soon I will have it done, but people are already offering to buy what I have
Its already tempting to sell, as im reading about 7.62x54r ar-10s
That people are talking about. Who knows what will come of it
But I think I would drop this peoject to build that

IIRC, ATRS stopped carrying ASA due to poor build quality and customer service, but that's only from memory. I'm sure Rick will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

The Adcor BEAR Elite upper is the cat's a$$ in terms of features. The one downside was the non-availability/possibility of changing the forearm, but Adcor did release a new, lighter weight & profile handguard.

Good luck with the build OP.

Yes asa used to be a bad quality horrible customer service company. But they sold
And good people have bought them out. Where do yiu finf the adcor one?

Thanks man

Bought the upper from SGW two years - no clue what their current stock or future availability is though.

IRG also sells ADCOR rifles, but with our dollar being so weak against the greenback, it does hurt the wallet more than it did a year ago.

I dont even know how bad quality they were that long ago. Just bad customer service,
Really bad according to the reviews ive read.

Atrs used to carry them, and now they are using the same charging handle design
On there new modern hunter rifle. They must of like something about it.
I asked them if they made a side charger upper, but they didnt respond.
I would of rather have supported local guys

We should be seeing the Adcor units in shortly as the order was just confirmed by the Adcor and we hope to make this a line that will always be a stocked product. Adcor has been great to deal with and we look forward to working with them again, and again.

Will this order include the new extended forehand :)

And what about 20" uppers?

I really which they'd offer other calibers as well.
