My new Robinson Arms XCR-M in white

Hmmmm...mine is rock solid for a folder. My Swiss Arms from years ago had a horrid wobbly stock, sold it. Let you know after a few hundred more rounds how it is.
Cheers

I'm not sure what you mean by "rock solid for a folder" as by stating "for a folder" you're implying there is movement.

I should clarify, the folding mechanism is pretty solid, it's actually the adjustable length that introduced the wobble. There is a bit of play between the extending stock and the folding part. This I could do without, as, I find the maximum length to be just long enough, and can't see how a shorter length of pull would really be of benefit, unless you're a much shorter shooter.

To be honest I'm not sure why they felt they needed to reinvent the wheel with the folding stock, as, being made out of aluminum it does add some weight.

It's not bad by any means, but, the design does allow for some movement, which should be expected from a folding/telescoping design.

Where do you shoot this bad boy? Do you have a large private property or something? Or do you do it on crown land?

XCR-Ms (and the XCR-L) are non-restricted so wherever you can shoot .308 safely, you can shoot it. Not limited to the range like so many other black rifles.

You can shoot a "white rifle" anywhere...lol
I shoot on some large acreage on the farm, very safe and good terrain.

Don't get me wrong on the Swiss Arms, it was a fun gun to shoot but it was not their best example on production quality on that particular rifle. Hey, even Ferrari's have lemons...
I really like the option of a folding stock, non restricted semi auto .308 for work/hunting/play. Will hopefully have some slap away glass mounted on it for next weekend.
