So as i stated in the other thread, i bought a new Ruger SR9 on Wed of this week and on Thurs all the paperwork was done so i picked up the pistol (Really fast! The CFO must like me;) ). It came with all the normal manuals, two mags, a mag loader, trigger lock and a spent shell casing. I'm really happy with the fit and finish of the gun, it feels great in hand, the grip is VERY slim, but even with my large hands its comfortable ( i did turn the "backstrap" around to the thicker size). It feels similar to my Glock, we'll see if it performs as well. The rails on the frame that the slide rides on are Very thick, and feel very heavy duty, they are probably twice as thick as the rails on the Glock frame. I stripped/cleaned the pistol (there was the usual grease on it, i also always clean a new gun as soon as i get it) i then oiled it.

Pics.

Went to the Range today, I shot 250rds of Remington UMC 115grain FMJ, the gun was very accurate right away (the first pic is my FIRST two mags at 7meters) With the fourth and fifth mags i had 6 FTE, it worried me but then it didnt happen again so i dont know what to blame (im thinking next time i'll use ammo with a bit more bang) Other than that the gun ran flawlessly, very accurate and a blast to shoot. The sights are great, the controls were all within reach, overall im very happy with it. The last pic shows the gun and target with the last two mags fired, cant wait to go back.
Overall, really good bang for the buck.

Congrats man, same one the wife got under the tree. She has about 400 rounds through it now but is nowhere near as good as you are :) Nice shooting!!!

Hi,
What type of punch did you use to make those holes on the paper!:D Are you some kind of olympic shooter?
I don't get those results with my SR9, at least not at 15 meters! I will try at 5 meters!
I have big hands and find the pistol too thin and hard to handle correctly. Maybe I need more practice and get use to the funny triger!
Nice shots anyway ;)
