Just wanted to throw up some pveictures of my new M&P15 Sport imported by irunguns. You can see it is the model with a flash hider etc. I've added some furniture of my own choice in gray, a single point sling and adapter, a burris XTS135 and a weaver back up sight (not a flip model) and an ambidextrous safety. I'm quite happy with it. As you can see and no doubt know the Sport model has no forward assist or dust cover but, what do I really need those for?

All in all it was a flawless transaction and I'm very happy with the quality, staking in all the right places etc. Not the best pictures but, I was avoiding other chores I really should be doing now:

If anyone was looking at the sport model it certainly looks great. Can't speak on function yet but, all the reviews are very positive.

WOW..you did a great job decking it out my friend.... Thank-you for the kind words...and if there is anything you need in the future please let us know.

Best Regards,

IRUNGUNS

Looks great... makes me wonder though how much money SW is really saving by not including a fwd assist and dust cover? Must have to do with machining the upper for the forward assist.

I had an M&P-15 for a while, quality rifle no doubt. I've only ever used the forward assist once, and that occurred running Hornady Steel Match 75gr in the LAR mags. There is a coating on the casings of these rounds that made things a little sticky loading the first one. No issue in PMAGS though.

It's a nice stock. Ps I cannot speak highly enough of Jason and irunguns. A fantastic company to deal with. If I was a richer man they'd get even more of my money!

so if you don't mind my asking, how much all said and done? not the extra stuff you added, just the gun, the handling, shipping etc.

I am seriously considering one of these, especially when I find out its made by Stag.

Care to share your source? I do not think M&P 15 are made by Stags anymore.
The M&P 15 sport was just under $900 bucks delivered to your door.

mine came to 930$ and change to my door but, I live in the middle of nowhere. When the M&P15s first came out, the lowers and other parts (possibly) were made by CMT, Stag's parent company. They are made in house now but, the quality is still very good.
