Picked this baby up for under $400 last week, brand new; really happy with it so far; it’s my new boating/camping/hiking rig. It’s a nickel plated Optima Pump, made it Turkey. It holds 7 rounds in the tube with the plug removed and comes with a pistol grip and a synthetic stock. The action is really smooth and positive and it looks cool as hell to boot. I think it’s a really good value; I picked this one up from the guys at Wanstalls in Maple Ridge.

i have one also.
bought it from frontier.
i am also very satisfied with it.

a lot of gun for 299$
( i paid mine 299$ a few months back, before frontier
upped the price to 339$
you can't find a better shotgun at that price.
 
ever since I got my nova i see shotguns' pumps desing like that everywhere

I wonder who came out with it first, benelli or the others

it doesn't kick that hard with slugs.

well, it's not the lightest kick in the world, but for a light shotgun
with a synthetic stock, it's not that bad really. it's comparable to
a mossberg 500.

the only ''problem'' with this shotgun is that there is no side saddle
available for it.

I am pretty sure it's a 870 clone. I have shot a few of slugs out of it; with the stock and a jacket it's fine, with the pistol grip and no glove it's pretty nasty.

already have one, i would like to also have a receiver mounted
side saddle also. one for buckshot, one for slugs.

all my tactical shotguns have both, the remingtons, the mossbergs,
the winchesters, only my hatsan have no side saddle on the receiver.

Nice shotgun. I have one looks a LOT like it, except mine says Hatsan Escort on the receiver. The only difference is that the trigger is slightly different. Made by the same company, perhaps?

yes all the same company.
made in the same country as the cheap mossberg shotguns
