my new Sig-Pro 2022 vs my new 229r

Trick I learnt overseas from some special soldiers is this. As you sight in and take up the slack, repeat in your head "sight sight sight" until it's where you want it to be, and then squeeze. "sight sight squeeze"
good luck

That's funny, I've repeatedly read the opposite. That is, the Sig Pro has a considerably better trigger than the 229R.

In any case, I should have mine some time next week, so I'll be sure to make a review thread with pictures, targets, etc...

I don't know where you've read that, but it's not the case. Take the trigger mech apart and you will see why. It's easier to smith the P220-series as well. However the SIG Pro trigger mech is more durable.

Frankly I have one of the US made P226s and it did come with a pretty rubbish trigger pull out of the box, far worse than the German ones. So I can see why people might say the SIG Pro has the better trigger pull given that it was made in Germany.

However generally speaking the P220-series does have a better trigger pull, and regardless of how rubbish the American ones are now, it's easier to smooth them out too.

If I can get my ATT soon, I'll receive the Sig. I want to make that damn review thread, but it's kind of hard to do that when you're not getting the firearm because of political "rules".

Shouldn't be too long now, folks.
