Now just need to get my hands on some 20rd mags....you no for the zombies;) :rolleyes:

Thanks for looking :D:D

I want to make passionate love with your gun.

Looks sweet man! I got a sig 226 and love it, I wouldn't mind a 229. Those grips look really badass too, where did you get them? Did they come stock with your gun? Where did you get your gun?

Hope that ain't too many questions

me=jealous

I got a 226 also 9mm. I wanted and love the look of the Elite but the extra thickness of those wood grips were just too much for me.

conrgats that is one awesome looking gun

Hey drgroove, the pistol came with the grips. I got the pistol at the local gun store here in fort saint john. I think you could order the grips from sig sauer.

Thanks everyone for the comments, just need a couple more mags and a nice weapon light for it...

That is a beautiful gun, the grips really set everything off for me visually. It has really got me thinking about picking one up as my first foray into the pistol world. I have shot a 226 elite in 9mm and loved it, does anyone know how the smaller 229 compares in terms of balance and feel? I actually don't think the 106mm barrel looks out of place, very nice pick up!

Really sweet man, one of the best looking Sig's i have seen. Usually I don't go for the wood grip look, but damn, it works so nice on that gun. I'd definitely buy that, has a rail too. Hot.

Last time I looked,I can tell you that sig won't/does not sell the elite grips as an optional available accessory. I am not even sure you could even buy them as a replacement part at least not for less than 3 Benjamins. I just sold my rosewood grips as my 229r with plastic grips went to another owner.
