Just wanted to share my experience with Jerry at Mystic Precision and my purchase of a 10-50x60 SIII SS.
I have talked to him briefly here and there over the last couple years and have been recently looking for a new long range scope for a few months now. Still being fairly new to the sport and very green about the long distance shooting, I have talked to numerous venders and have been gathering lots of different opinions.
I also had a buddy looking for a long distance scope as well, and then last month my buddy met up with Jerry in Summerland, and he was very impressed with Jerry's knowledge and experience, to say the least. He ended up ordering a new Sightron from him, so I decided to call Jerry and ask him his thoughts.
When I called him, I was hoping to just grab a few minutes of his time and ask for a price and such, but to my surprise, he spent 40 minutes on the phone with me, not only answered all my questions, but gave me tons of advice and direction on my project,....even before we talked about actually purchasing a scope from him.
I actually did not buy the scope right then, but took a couple days to think about all my options and various opinions I had heard, and when I called Jerry back, he was happy to chat me up again about a bunch more stuff! Needless to say, at that point he had me sold, so I ordered the Sightron from him before Xmas, and as it was on back order, patiently waited for it to show. It landed on my desk today and was exactly as advertised and the whole process from initial phone call, to Jerry shipping it to me, has been a pleasant, relaxed and great experience!
I am sometimes hard to please and get annoyed at some of the people who don't seem to have time for new shooters-hey we all have to start somewhere!, but Jerry, and Mystic Precision, was fabulous and wanted to let my fellow CGNers know how I was treated. Thanks Jerry!

Me too. I ordered the same scope, with Illuminated Reticle from Jerry. Sadly it was backordered. That's fine with me because I have no plans to shoot for next two months. I can wait a bit longer. He surely gave me some good advice between 8-32-56 and 10-50x60 for F-Class.

I just finished paying for my 10-50x60 Target Dot this morning. Jerry seems to be doing well on these units, eh?

And hell, 50x ain't too much for a .22 is it :D Should turn the heads of the fixed 4x and 3-9 crowd at my club :D

My only dealing with Jerry was for just some bases and he provided the same awesome level of service as if I had been buying an expensive scope. Solid guy, no question.

Cheers Jerry!
