My ''new'' SKS

Picked this up last Saturday from Lever Arms, pretty good shape for a 60 year old weapon (pw2412, made in 1951) I havent shot it yet, but it looks to be in good condition, it was the nicest looking of the lot on display. Not bad for $150

thanks guys, Im pretty happy with it, cant wait to get it out on the range, the barrel is in good shape, I hope its a decent shooter

I picked out two unissued hardwood skses at lever, most of them are dogs but there are a few nice ones if you pick carefully!

did you have to ask for those especially? I figured they had more (and nicer ones) in back, but I wasnt too concerned with looks, I just grabbed one that looked like the metal finish was in good condition. Once I got it home and broke it down, it looked like it hadnt been issued, they mustve fixed it up then tossed it in a crate for storage

Sweet, I like that bayonet better than the spike that was with my Chinese SKS.
