My girlfriend brought me to fabricland:( . I know, boring place, but I found something which caught my eye:rockOn: . Seeing as how she can sew I figured I would ask if she can make me some pants for hunting. Heres the end result of that idea.... Pretty decent price for fabric and the rest of the stuff when compared to the price of clothing at WSS and other places.

They are not insulated, I am using them as a shell. The fabric is fairly tough so they should last awhile.

I'm sure a few of you will be asking the wife/gf or both in the near future if they can sew:bigHug:

Nice, your lady sure did some great work! You really have to be a gun nut to imagine hunting gear in a fabric shop :D

Sounds kinda like a "you might be a redneck if..." LOL

you can bring a hunter to the city, but you can't put city in the hunter..

Nice cat and your room (living room) is so tidy. Your girlfriend mus have done some tidying up before the photo or you did before she came over.

The trousers look professionally tailored. Hang on to her as their are other seasons besides Winter!;)

Now I am thinking of getting her to make a few more things.

Maybe a gunsock with a sock to put around the scope.

Might need a jacket to match...

It's probably his mom's house.

I'll take a pair in 32w 32 long please! nice job, you should get her to make some more and sell me a pair. or I guess I could learn how to sew.

My first hunting colours was a yellow rainsuit, which soon became the pattern for a set of orange duds I sewed myself. Version one lasted almost 15 yrs, and version two now has one season.

My mother taught me: learn to cook, you will eat three times a day for the rest of your life; and learn to sew, you will wear clothes every day of your life.
