Yes A-one it is the ghost ring, and that is exactly why the feet are there...lol

Nice rifle. Mine was pretty smooth but I took a 2000grit wet/dry sandpaper to the lever's wear spots followed by jewlers rouge for stainless steel. I used just the jewlers rouge on the bolt. Now it is even better.
What are you shooting through it?

So far I have tried the 405 remington and the Hornandy 350 leverevolution, I really like the Hornandy stuff........I am not a handloader sadly (yet) so I have not tried any recipies but hope to at some point.
