First of it came with a sling but I can't seem to figure out how to mount the front of it, I seem to be missing a piece in the front??

I really like the feel of the gun, yes it feels a bit heavy, but wen you shoulder it it feel like 2/3 of my 6.5 lbs cz-858. Its very solid, and I really like the color alot more then the black rfb I saw... btw its a bit darker then it looks on the pics.

I really dont know what optic to get, my budget is between 200-500$ I was looking at the AR-332™ Prism Sight from burris, I would like a 6x dot, but I can't afford a elcan or acog:p My main usage of the gun will be hunting and a bit of target shooting. Any toughts?

there is a front sling swivel, bolt and a nut that came together with the rifle.

disassemble the rifle and install the sling swivel according to the manual...
basically, bolt it on through the hole in bottom corner of the handguard..

Give Wolverine a call as they may have put it aside when it was shipped to them and they unpacked it. If not, they can track it down or have it replaced through Vault Distribution.

Vortex Sparc red dot with a Vortex VMX3 magnifier w/ mount. Your looking at about $500-$600 for the setup, but it's pretty nice for the price. Talk to the guys at DS Tactical (Colin/Marty) about getting a package deal and maybe a break on price. The banner is at the top of the page...
The Vortex is better priced than the Burris, and its pretty well built. If you want to go top end, then look at an Aimpoint and add the magnification later. But If you want a good red dot that you can quickly flip over to 3X for longer shots, this is a pretty good bet.

Burris mount with quick release and Burris Fullfield II 3-9x. If you're worried about dangerous in close game etc, then you can put a Fasfire II on top as well as pictured on some of the others already posted. Total cost should be around $400 or less if you shop around. $180 for mount (Wolverine I believe sells them), $200 for the scope. This scope is one of the best optics deals out there. I currently have three of them. Great simple scope for the price. 95% light transmission as well.

The scope on Nightmares suites it well. The smaller size of the scope is nice too.

Nice set up! I might go that way, how confortable is it?l eyes relefe wise? Any idea on a eaqualy good scope same magnification and close price point but more compact? I know im demanding :p

I'm really thinking on pulling the triguer on a AR-332™ Prism Sight from burris, the reviews online seem really positive. Anybody have a opinion on that sight? about a 3x dot on a rfb for hunting?

1.5 x 4 scout scope. Period

Or 1.1x 10 ? I think made by s&b Jeff Cooper was involved. Google ruger gunsite scout rifle article. They talk about optics for scout rifles.

Period?

I tried the Leupold 1.5 LER off of my Frontier....wasn't a good setup at all! Do you even own an RFB or are simply throwing out an opinion as the last word in RFB optics?

Mine is a hunter.

Leupold VXIII in 2.5-8 with a FFII piggybacked on a PEPR mount. Suits my uses perfectly

It seem very hard to get a ar-332 they are back orderd... I was wondering how well do you see from your ff2 on top of your scope? It must be very high? You must not be able to cheek weld at all?

Well....it becomes more of a "side chin weld" when using the FF, but it's only there for fast close-moving shots anyway (50 yards or less) where a head-up, both eyes open reflex type shot is better. When bambi busts out of the tag alders at 20 yards, I don't have time to worry about cheek weld....gun up-dot on shoulder-shoot.....1.5 seconds or less ;)
