My new Tanfoglio Holster

SLB holster from Finland ... unfortunately not available here ...

Got my hands on a few of them, and this holster rocks ...

Made by 2 guys in Finland as a hobby, they make them gun specific so they fit the gun right out of the box, instead of having to set them up, like a CR Speed for example ...

This holster is pretty awesome and I'm glad I was able to get a few extras for some friends ...

Unfortunately no ... the guy I got it from told me these guys just do it in their garage pretty much and don't really make them for business ... I think they're nuts, they could sell piles of these ... apparently pretty much every IPSC shooter in Finland has one and they make them for all different guns .. CZ TS, Shadow, various Glocks, etc ... when I asked him if he was able to get me some, it took over 2 months for me to get them
 
I had wanted one of these for quite a while and was unable to get my hands on one. They are popular for the Tanfoglio guns were they work so well with them. Looks great and thanks for sharing :)
 
If I would have known how many people were going to say that I would have bought more! LoL. The extras that I got were snapped up the day after I received them.

If anyone is seriously interested, PM me and I will try and get more here .. Not cheap though .. After shipping, euro exchange rate, duty and taxes they came out to $275 each

If I can get them I could get them for other guns too, just need make/model.

But ... It took over 2 months to get them so just be aware ...
 
I recently got one of these from SpideySteve and they are so very smooth compared to my old CRspeed..
Solid as a ROCK!..
Multi adjustable..
Used it last wednesday for the first time..

I LIKE IT..

Heard back from my contact in Finland ...

He is going to contact the manufacturer for me ... Unfortunately he won't give me their contact info so I can't get in touch with them directly ... But looks pretty good for getting more ... Hopefully before Xmas ...
 
Steve, this holster is the best I have found for the Tanfoglio (and yes it is better than DAA's new racemaster holster)

Retention is top notch, adjustability looks rudimentary, but is actually quite clever, and works better than the DAA's ball and socket setup.

Hey all ...

I managed to get in touch with one of the distributors in Finland ... We are working out the details right now. A couple problems, and one is timing ... Nearly 24 hours goes by between email conversations just due to schedules and the huge difference in time zones, so it's taking a while to work out the kinks and make a deal (not just $$, just a business deal in general). Second problem is that the manufacturer is completely sold out of holsters for the Tanfoglio LC 2 and doesn't plan on making more this year. Likely I won't be able to get any until March next year from what I am told ...

That being said .... I should be able to get the following models quite soon (within a few weeks if all goes well):

STI Edge
CZ SP01 Shadow
Glock 17

I know that's not overly positive for us tanfoglio guys, but it's a start, and in general it's good ...

As soon as I have confirmation they are on the way here, I will post in the EE

Yup, I will be there and for sure you can check it out.

As I said, they are built specifically for each gun so no they can't be modified to fit different guns.

I'm trying to get them right now shipped here and if I do, I will bring in the Shadow model for sure :)

The set up for the shadow thing was meant about the Racemaster...


and for sure find me at the match and let mE have a lookey loo. I'm really interested, but i don't want to spend that kind of money without being able to fondle one 1st.... Don't get excited Steve I meant the Holster!

What racemaster ?? You mean my old CR speed? Ya I have 1 that I want to sell now, and yes I have all the parts to set it up for your Shadow

But I may be interested in your CR too for the right price. Is there any reason it couldn't be set up for a PPC revolver?

PM your price for the CR. For the right price I'm intersted. Even if I have to buy a new gun to go with it! Or i can just set it for my shadow until i get one of the fancy finnish ones, if I get one.
 
You can't set up the regular CR Speed for a revolver. But Nick, it will work for your Shadow, and why would you even entertain using a Revolver when you have just acquired the Shadow?
