I was at the Crean Hill Gun Show today and picked up this beauty. I've always wanted a .22 Hornet and bought the best. I even managed to get a set of rings with it. It's a Brno ZK 465 made in 1949.
I once had it's slightly older sister and she was good looking, also!
If you are reloading, they are critical on pressure, plus they will only stablize light bullets, due to the rifling twist.
Don't lose the magazine as they are almost impossible to find...i remember a rifle a year back going for $300 because the owner couldn't locate a mag.....Harold
they are the best .22 Hornet sporter ever made, Imho. The older ones usually have very nice wood. Rings are not a problem, the current CZ rings for their small centerfire fit 465's.
Aha, you were the so & so I saw walking away with it.
I was close to you looking at something else.
I should have grabbed when I made my first quick tear around the place.
