Not overly excited with the scope and rings, but those are easily changed out.
A couple more Glock Mags and I'll be good to go
Tight Groups,
Rob

Congratulations! :)

Definitely want a range report on this one. I've just come back from the range with my Cx4 and I'm always looking for info on the other 9mm carbines!

You're right about the scope... those rings are ridiculously high. That's not a rimfire scope though, right?

Well, the range report comes after it arrives.
First off will be those rings and a new to gun scope of sorts..not sure yet what I have available atm.
As for comparing it to the other afore mentioned 9mm carbines I have no experience with.
Well, I did have a none-restricted CX Storm that would run flawlessly and digest what ever I fed it.
I am buying this one sight unseen and not holding one either, so.....
Anyways just putting it out there for your viewing pleasure,
Best Regards and as always Tight Groups,
Rob

I've had a bit of mag issues with my specimen. Tnw's response was to modify the followers. I'm using glock mags, it was made for glock mags yet I have to hack up the followers with a dremal tool. Seams like I ended up being a bata tester. Shouldn't have to bastardize mags just so they work. Just my opinion tho. Also the scope isn't worth installing. I also question how long the pins holding the upper and lower together will stay in. They are tight right now but there is no detent holding them in place. This tells me that as time passes and things wear they will become loose and may move around during shooting. Yes. I know the studs in which the pins interface and said to be adjustable. But has anyone tried to move them? They are already screwed in tight. On the bright side it's very accurate.

Id take my jr back over this thing. It's a cool idea but poorly executed. And I see jrc now has a take down model. :) I really wanted to like this little rifle but it's been hard thus far

From my experience it's actually variations in the metal plate milder into the back of the mag body that causes issues.

IMO, that thing really deserves new furniture on it. The pistol grip and buttstock are pretty lame, ultra low end stuff. Thankfully it is standard AR stuff, so should be easy and inexpensive to replace.

That's a lot of extra weight and bulk to gain 0 shots Canadian! Yeah, but it looks cool and freaks out the antis, so I guess it's worth it.;)

Almost anything to annoy the anti's is good in my book.
I'm not really a blk gun kinda guy, just wanted to try something unique (to me) out is all.
Now, how about a drum in say a f/a ruger 10-22 ;)
That would be cool.

Well, my ASR arrived this afternoon and it is a pretty cool piece of kit. I bought a Magpul hand grip for it yesterday and it doesnt fit.
I need to do more homework before buying stuff for this gun.
Also, converting or shall I say changing it to left hand eject(if I needed to) is considerably more time consuming than doing that on the CX Storm.
But, for what it is and not having had it out in the wild performing I am happy so far with how it looks feels and fits.
Pics to come later when I add a reflex site and later on a pair of 45 degree offset iron sites.
Anyone have some kicking around ?
Rob
