Since we know this rifle should laugh at the 50 yard 1/2" challenge, I've got something for you to beat 
100-yard 0.356" 5-shot group, 0.216" correction factor applied for center to center measurement. Pick the calmest day you can to shoot, put up your "windicators" and start to realize just how crappy all your ammo really is with all the vertical that shows up at 100. FYI 10fps variation = about 1/4" vertical at 100 yards.

I plan on some 100m shooting. I have a spot in the hills above me that's great for 50m but I can only get about 90m there. A trip to the range is an hour and usually busy. I plan on shooting it for a while with the factory peeps before I put on an optic. I have been hunting and haven't been able to get out to try. I'm off tomorrow but it's supposed to be foggy and raining. Did you shoot that group rabid? What rifle and ammo?
90m = 98.5 yards, close enough! Yes I shot that last week with my 64 MSR and Lapua X-Act. I did a few attempts of the 1-2-3 target @ 100y challenge on RFC then shot some groups with the leftover ammo. Wind was variable and shifting, 9mph with 16 mph gusts. On the rest of the target you can see how the wind played havoc with me and usually 1/2" to 3/4" of vertical from this mislabelled practice ammo. Funny thing is, seeing that group come together and lining up the last shot I'm not thinking "don't blow the shot" I'm thinking "I hope the wind stays the same and I don't get a hot or weak round"! lol. It was my last group of the day and probably the season too, weather has really turned over the weekend.
Yes it was a real treat, it rides the rear bag and front rest so well I hardly had to re aim.I'm left eye dominant and was a little worried about loading and cycling the bolt but it was easy peasy. The LH thumbhole fits me well. I'm going to have some targets made up that have 5 of the 50yd black circles so I can attempt a few challenges with peeps. It's doable as I shot 2 groups under a half inch today with old sk std plus ,might take me awhile though. It's surprisingly loud compared to the MPR. It ran flawlessly today no extraction or ejection issues. I tried my cheap trigger pull Guage that only goes down to 8 oz and it didn't even move.So was it a treat to shoot or what?I'm sure the peeps will take some getting used to along with dialing in the inserts for the targets you're using. Betcha' can pull off a 1/2" challenge without the scope
The Peep (target) sights are addictive.
Half the times I go to the range I take my BSA Mk II.
Sunday was our 100 Meter rimfire shoot and we had 6 shooters out. I was the only one shoot target sights.
This target was using Federal Match 922A. The total is at the bottom . . . the wind is my excuse and I'm sticking to that!
Today I am going to work on besting a -32 on the 1-2-3 target with the CZ455 but only have one box of CenterX left.
Half the times I go to the range I take my BSA Mk II.

I figure it was time for an update as I picked up a high and mid sampler pack from Tesro .I was out testing the ammo with my Walther KKM as well as my 1813.We finally had some decent shooting weather from all the high heat and wind over the last 3 weeks.
I shot 2 sighters first as I had my optic set for 100yds and had to bring it down from there I just kept shooting one after the other.I was very happy with the new SK std plus showing good results as well as the Eley Team.I was very dissapointed with Tenex after all the hype.I still have Eley Club,RWS 50,a few different lots on center x ,Midas + and X act to try.All in all it was a great afternoon.

I bet if you ran it over a chronograph the muzzle velocities would be tighter than the SK Std +, but none of that matters when the harmonics are out of tune for your barrel. Just cuz it's premium don't mean your rifle will like it
Look at that vertical string on the 4th Tenex dot... yikes! You could fix that with a tuner, but SK and Lapua shoot much better naturally out of the barrel and looks to me like you'll have the most success with those brands.
In all the Asnchutz I have used ( 5 different examples), I always had more success with Lapua ( Centex X, Midas plus and Xact ) than with any Eley cartidges ( including Tenex ). Maybe this is only my experience but with that, I am inclined to think that Annies prefer Lapua stuff. I have yet to try RWS.

Savagecanuck: yes I have received the 54.30 and I brought it to the range for the first time this morning:
I mainly got used to the rifle ( which was quite easy ). The action of the bolt is so short and smooth (and solid) and the trigger is simply amazing.
I tried Sk std+ and Lapua Center X and also 25 rounds of Eley Tenex. All shot well and I was quite surprised that the Tenex did really good. Surprised because, even though they are top of the crop ammo, my experience with Eley stuff (including Tenex) in different Annies was not good. But those 5 groups I shot using Tenex in my 54.30 impressed me.
Of course, I have much more testing to do and these are very preliminary results.
I also have to try Midas+ and Xact.
