Hey Guys;

Well, after years of turning my nose up at the prices of Lee Enfields in the EE... I finally 'bit the bullet' & GOT ONE! Here is my louthepou, "Reclaimed from Bubba", British Lee Enfield No.4 Mk2. It's been a long time since I owned an Enfield, it brings me right back to High School!!! YAHOO!!!

Cheers
Jay
P.S. Thanks louthepou!!!

Tough one, now that the rifle isn't here :) Glad it went to a good home.

Well IIRC, it received its "Mk2" mod at Fazakerley. Either that, or it was simply made as a Mk2 to start with. (Jay, by now you should see that you need to modify your post title, it's a Mk2) :D The electro-penciled markings on the left side of the receiver are faint, but a year should be there... That's where you'll see the the "(F)" for the Fazakerley part. Can't remember what was stamped on the left side of the butt socket... back to you, Jay ;)

You gott'a love them blondes.
Sweet .303 there Jay.
The dog look's good, too.
Most LE's have the date of manufacture on the left side of the butt socket, ... don't know all that much about 'em though, "with a grain of salt".
:rockOn:

Thanks vviking. Glad to report Jay left only with the rifle and didn't take my Weimaraner. Too much of a princess to live with Jay's wirehaired male. :D
