My new ( to me ) Cooey Model 600

picked this little beauty up last week on Tuesday at the LGS, It's a Cooey Model 600 .22

the rifle is in very nice condition, the scope, not so much ( I may be doing something wrong )

The problem I am having with the scope is it doesn't want to hold zero, If I can get some tip's on how to correct this issue ( other than buying a new scope ) I am all ears.

Check all the screws for mounting the scope for tightness.
If they are tight, I'd go with a new scope.
Rimfire or one with an AO.
