Just got my (lightly used) NP-40 off a fellow CGN'er and I had her out to the range today.

I'll sum up my range day in one word: Shwing!!!! :D  :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

150 rounds later, no issues what so ever. Firing DA, the trigger pull was easy to get used to, and in SA, quick follow up shots were a breeze. Just have to work on the aim a bit (the left side of the target got it real good :p ) and I'm good to go. I was using Remington factory 165 and 180 grn FP's.

I just need to get a couple more mags and some mag holders and I might use this baby for IPSC.

I've heard a few folks claim they've had some problems with these, (or any norinco) but like yours, mine has functioned perfectly. I have handled a few real CZ's and can't say there's much of a difference except maybe sights and grips. As far as accuracy goes, I'm not one to judge, never thought of a pistol as a bullseye arm so if I can hit a pie plate at 25 yards every shot freehand, one hand, standing on my head I'm happy.
