...was just delivered by Purolator! It only took a couple of more months than expected, but it was worth the wait. Granted, I'll now have to wait for the snow to melt because .45 brass is expensive.

This is my first 1911 platform, and I got it while it still says "Made in Canada"

That is one nice looking 1911! Makes me even more proud to be a Canadian to see something like that!

Apparently my buddy's son just purchased one as well. I have not seen as of yet, so thanks for posting pics. I think you have a fine investment piece right there.

Got mine today too (helped make up for sucky weather today). I chose the 9mm myself.

Event the mags are marked "Made in Canada". Nice to see...I have enough "Madeinchina" brand goods at home.

And awww, shucks...the little book says I have to go out right away and fire 250 rounds, clean, and repeat...well if I gotta...;)

Might make Words Twice happy too...he won't have to hear my Norincos on the range...maybe...

Every Canadian Soldier should be offered one of these at cost plus a buck.Better yet, standard issue. I would far rather see my tax money spent on this than a lot of the useless #### we have to pay for.

Wait para ordinance is canadian??!! i had heard it was but when i went to their site i was all American?? Somebody please explain this to me.

Para is originally a Canadian company, but they are in the process of relocating to the US. Para has had an office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a long time, that is why you see that. Then a few years ago Para USA was created, probably the start of the transition to the US, even though Ted Szabo said he would never move to the US, I think as much as he did not want to, he had no choice given the gun laws we have here, the pressure from the idiots on Toronto Council and wanting a bigger piece of the market in the US, primarily Government and LE.
