what is that... some sort of gun sling?
Hah!!!!!
Do you need a PAL for that? I was under the impression that you could buy one without a PAL but then my dad thought you needed one. Can anyone give me an answer?

Nope no PAL needed. Just walk in and pick one out.

I guess I should say what kind it is...Its a Hoyt Lazertec. It shoots awsome. Just picked it up today and I have arrows touching each other in the target. Can't wait for bear and deer.

I'm Seriously thinking about getting into bow hunting myself. Me and my old man bought a HOYT VTEC for my sister this winter. Don't know if she'll end up going hunting, but we're trying to influence her into joining the sport one way or the other.

Do you mind telling us how much the Lazertec cost you? did you get the whole package?

nice avatar DarkArcher :D:D

I just got a bow too! It's a PSE Triton with all the goodies courtesy of 72mustang via the EE.

I'll be visiting a pro shop this weekend to get it adjusted, then practice and more practice!

I'm even considering trying a spot and stalk on a blackie in May with someone backing me up with the ol' Guide Gun!

That may be a bit ambitious though... I haven't shot a compound before.

I'll certainly not try it if I don't think I could make a clean kill, but who knows?

Are they difficult to learn to shoot well?

No there not difficult to learn to shoot. There very fun and addicting. The bow itself cost $500, then you add all the accessories. I'v been shooting all day, man is my shoulder sore.
