***********Warning, hardcore gun #### :D***************

Today I received my new toy. Well, for me, It's not just a toy... It's my dream gun.

Some time ago, I was shopping for a precision rifle. I had the money and wanted something nice. I took the time to send a long e-mail to a gunsmith, explaining what I wanted. I checked my e-mails at least twice a day, expecting his response. After a week, I sent another e-mail, in case the first one got lost. After another week, I decided to give up on that gunsmith and to find another one. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed and also a bit insulted.

Then, a few days after, I found out wolverines supply had a few H&K P7M8. I knew they were quite rare, and had always found them attractive. I started reading about them and decided I needed one.

So, the money I didn't spend on the rifle bought me my dream gun. There's not a single handgun in the world I wanted more than this one, but I had no intention to spend that much on a pistol.

When I received the gun today, I knew I made the right choice.(And thanked God the gunsmith never replied to me!) After having played with it all day, I decided to take some pics for you :D

Hope you like them!

Fit and finish seems perfect, and the gun is incredibly small. It's just a bit longer than my hand with my index extended. I put a set of nill grips on it the second I finished to clean it, and IMHO, I think it's incredibly ###y :D

I would like to add that Ryan at Wolverines Supply was really helpful, and I thank him very much for that. He knows what customer service is, something we don't see very often these days. The same thing can be said from MacTec Enterprises, where I bought the grips. Top notch guys.

It's so beautiful. I've always wanted one of those. Lucky bastard :)
Now take some pics at the range and post them too, for us.
I bet the pistol will be family heirloom ;)

Very, very nice. Congrats.

P.S. where did you buy the Nill grips?

Thanks!

I bought them from MacTec Enterprises. Very good people to deal with.

Try this: mactec-militaryarms.com/nill-grips-hk.html

The grips are quite expensive, but in this case, you really get what you pay for. The fit is just perfect and the quality of the wood is great. Also, I prefer the shape of the grips over the factory plastic grips (wich are nice too).

hope this helps

Dang it! That's what I wanted to buy. I've always wanted one, but spent the money on a Sig X-Five instead. Not that I'm complaining about the Sig, but now I have to start saving all over again. And now I have to spend another $100+ USD for the Nill Grips!!

Congrats Vitriol, thats one sweet looking pistol. Great call on the Nill grips!

I shot an H&K P7M13 once and immediatly fell in love with it. It is without a doubt the best 9mm I've ever shot. The size of the gun is perfect for this caliber. I find myself being quite envious. Enjoy your new toy while I dream of the day I get one for myself.

They are not stock grips, they are Nill Grips (aftermarket). The stock ones are black synthetic. I prefer the Nill ones for looks + they are more comfortable for my hands.

The germans were always noted for complicated solutions to a simple problem.

However I am sure you will enjoy using it, and in the end, thats the only thing that counts.

From what i understand, this isn't a comlicated gun at all, simple gas blowback witha a fixed barrel... accurate and good for high pressure rounds, no?

Complicated solution maybe, but German's have talent for creating amazing products in the end. Guns aside, Automobiles are the other the comes to mind.

At any rate, this is one amazing pistol. I love it out of all H&K products. It just conjures up romantic images of older day, of heroic spies and all those beautiful girls.... PPK is the only other pistol that does that to me.
