Grabbed a Bushy ACR off the EE last week and finally got time to take it out to play at the range today!

I have to say i'm very impressed with the firearm. Yes, like they say its a little front heavy compared to a standard AR, but that Non-Res length heavy profile Questar barrel must play a part in it! For the first day with it out on the range we were just poking holes but groupings of 5 rounds inside 2" at 50 yards managed to be accomplished before leaving. All in all I guess im still just a little high, my first "Black" rifle and its NR! :)

So that's where that one went, you have no idea how many times I had that ad open. ;)

Nice rifle. :D You'll find the ammo it likes and get it down to MOA for sure. Remind me, what's the twist rate on the Questar barrel again?

Loki - I stared at that ad for a long time, then i found some extra cash (who needs those extra mortgage payments saved up anyways) and had to have it! I believe the Questar barrel is a 1:8..

I looked at that ad a number of times myself.

Nice rifle. I really liked the SS non restricted barrel with the folding stock and regular front handguard. I'm not a fan of the "enhanced" handguard. I think the regular one that your rifle has looks the best.

Congratulations. That's a nice rifle.

congrats on the purchase - I, unlike most the commenters, never saw the Ad- although after seeing those pictures i am sure i would have left it open for a day or two on my monitor!

Good purchase. Does if have the factory trigger? If so look into a Geissele...makes a huge improvement.

This. The stock trigger improves over time (but if it's a used gun it should be worn in already), but there is nothing like a Geissele. I love my Super-ACR.

Thanks guys, hell, I dreamt of shooting it again last night, is that wrong?! Hahah

B_w. - it is a stock trigger, pretty tough pull in my opinion, I'll look into the Gisselle as I've heard nothing but good things!

Not wrong at all! You should be able to get that rifle down to about an inch or a shade better with shells it likes. I used to own one like it and I was very pleased with how it shot. I've only held off buying another because Bushmaster was supposed to have factory non restricted ones coming in. Should have just kept what I had!! If you can get your hands on some 55 or 60 gr Hornady TAP or Vmax ammo I thing you will be pleasantly surprised!
