Just got my new Trojan 9mm. What is the small allen screw in the fornt of the trigger for?

Over travel adjustment...careful if you make an adjustment....you can cause mistiming.

It is used to prevent wasted movement of the trigger .
The basic adjustment is to screw it in till you cannot make the trigger drop the hammer, then back it out slightly till the hammer will drop when you pull the trigger.

One thing you want to watch while doing this is to avoid the sear hitting the half #### notch, which will beat the end of the sear over time.

Adjust it so the hammer will drop, but ease the hammer down with your thumb and fingers, and feel for a "bump" most of the way down. If you feel this, back out the screw some more until the bump is gone. Then you can Loc-Tite the screw in place.

Free advice...your gun...your choice...

Good choice,You will love it.Accurate and a fun gun to shoot.I just sold mine and bought the STI Ranger II in 9mm.I like the commander length better. Here is a pic of them together.

How do you like the Ranger in 9mm? I shot a .45 and it was really soft. Im looking for a 9mm with as little recoil as possible, but I do love commander 1911s so would it be a good choice?
