My New "used" Henry .45 Colt Mares Leg

Thanks, the top one is my .357 with the butt stock and lever from my .44 mag trapper,
and the lower one is in .45 Colt with a PGW butt with my own made brass butt plate.
These little carbines are a blast to shoot and hunt with.

Reviving this post with some pretty cool results for being able to land 5 shots minute-of-torso at 100m:

Ranch Hand in 45 Colt
Small Pack as a rest; semi-seated
Original sights (elevator pulled out; bead covering lower half of the target)
PGW Buttstock
Lee Classic Loader
250gr Cast LRNFP
6.7gr SR7625
CCI Large Pistol Magnum Primers

With the cast bullets, I've found that the lower loads were best, and that the 8-9gr loads threw everything helter-skelter. I'm not that bright, so it took me a month to figure that out.

My second lever gun ever, and my first experience reloading. Feels good. Love this little shooter more than my wannabe-AR. Super accurate at 10m; it's like the cheater's way to shoot a pistol at close range.
