My New UTS-15

I was on the fence, but decided I would sell my Griz magfed ad pick this up. Can't wait to get it. What's the word on the flashlights for these? Can't find a vendor in Canada.

Try Wolverine...If they're out of stock, they should have it by March when they get their other UTAS stuff.

They ain't cheap...but its a factory laser flashlight combo and fits right into the pump tube,no external mounts. Bought mine for 289CAD plus tax and shipping before christmas.
 
I've talked to Wolverine. They will be in between March & April. They last had them for $285. When they come in, I"ll be in!!.... haha.


This week I'm going to handle an Ergo grip and see if I like it... No one around Edmonton seems to have a Hogue grip. I like feeling them before buying, but I may have too...
 
saw some clips where some chaps were able to use offset holes and mount a picatinny rail above the pump in the barrel shroud slats. might be a decent economy option.
 
So I picked up an Ergo Grip. Installed it, and found it too small for my hand. So I found an Ergo Tactical Deluxe. WOW, FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! New choke installed as well... However, I contacted UTAS and they recommend not to fire slugs through a full choke... That sucks... as the Hog Wild Hevi-Shot 3" with 3 .625oz balls get better groups with full choke. I planed on alternating slugs and those for bear defence while bush camping....







 
Went out sans riser. Thing ate 2 3/4 and 3 inch like a fat kid on a twinky. The action is really fast with that pump assist. Grip sucks, it's gotta go... or maybe some tape on it. Gloves would be fine too.

Last night I was cleaning out an ammo cabinet and found a barrel extension that I thought I had lost. Now I have two and only one UTS-15!
I was lucky in that when I "lost" mine Wolverine still had stock so was able to get a replacement right away.
 
I just picked up a new MS4 QD 1pt sling from Wanstalls. ( those boys are awesome to deal with!! ) The new UTS has QD connects for mounting a sling.

All I need now is the factory laser & light and she will be complete.
 
i grabbed a cheap single point sling with a bunch of attaching hardware on the end, didnt work great with the QD sling mount i had, so had the wife pull the stitches and run the strap thru the loop of the qd sling mount. works awsome. Tho i feel a classic 2 point sling would probably work best on this platform unless you need to be "rady for action" at all times with it.
