My New Verney-Carron Double, Double Rifle......

I've been waiting for this one for a year now and finally got it in. I can hardly wait to get it out to the range.

Verney-Carron Azur Safari Luxe Left hand in 500 Nitro Express, with an extra set of barrels in 450/400 3" NE, that has a quick detach mount and Schmidt & Bender 1.1-4 Zenith

That's gorgeous, certainly my vote for finest rifle I've seen on this site, great choice in calibers as well, was a set of shotgun barrels an option as well?

I made a "double-take" when I saw that cheek piece. A true LH double. Nice.

Beautiful scope, but it just doesn't look right to me on that double. Useful, no doubt, just....

Can't say it better. That is some nice Dangerous Game iron! Only thing that could make that any better is a fitted set of shotgun barrels. .450/400 3" is a sweetheart of a chambering.
