My new walther - RANGE REPORT IS READY!

:redface:Sorry... me bad, I missed the kit part. You sure your first post included "kit" in the verbage?

I kicked myself for not getting one when I ordered my P1, and forgot again when I ordered my TT33, and forgot a third time when I purchased the 44 C&B! Soooo what all comes in the cleaning kit, looks kind of Koool?

The kit includes 2 brushes, a chain link pull thru, and oiler in a compact plastic case. The oiler is a little plastice squeeze tube that is empty and I filled it with some Otis oil.

Glad to see another Walther owner. I absolutely love my postwar P38.

Cool- Kinda neat to have an example of the original design before beretta screwed with it. Might have to get one to go with my wartime p38 (byf43).
Andy

PS they don't like jhp much but shoot hardball just fine

I am getting one because it reminds me of MEGATRON!!!!!!! :D:D

Heck I am making it a project gun, Silver and Decepticon painted on it!! :D:D

Oh brother... I remember taking my transformers to school to play with when I was a kid.

Can you just imagine the rain of SHYT and TERROR a kid showing up at school with this would bring down. - "Next on CBC news, a replica of the deadly AK47 assault pistol commonly used by Al-Qaeda could land your child in DEADLY trouble, we'll speak with outraged parents next... stay tuned after the break."

Australian Customs and Border Protection were seizing the Megatron guns as they were classed as replica firearms and are therefore a prohibited weapon requiring a permit. Permits for replica firearms are usually only given for the purposes of tv/movie production and to prohibited weapon collectors.

No Megatron toy for me :bangHead:

I dont know if the pistols come with manuals but I found this link (h ttp://eartist.nl/manuals.htm).

It has some cool German manuals too.

How is it to shoot?

Its a 9mm, right? That just a typical 9x19mm that modern pistols use? (pistol noob here lol)

Just checking, i like how its only $300, im just wondering what its worth for ammo before I think about looking at em.

Yep, it's 9x19mm. (same as 9mm luger, 9mm NATO, 9mm para, etc).

This gun is a really good buy for the money. European quality at a surplus price.

I downloaded a couple of manuals off the internet; they were just OK.
I ordered the P38 Do Everything Manual from Frontier. It came today and I'm VERY pleased. Much clearer depictions of everything including the exploded diagram with parts list IN ENGLISH.
